MARKING REQUIREMENTS

No special markings required on imported product, however, country of origin must be noted on import documentation.

IMPORTANT CHANGES EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2001 FOR SHIPMENTS ORIGINATING FROM THE UNITED STATES CANADA, CHINA AND JAPAN

E.U. Restrictions on Soft Wood Packing Materials

Beginning October 1, 2001, emergency measures adopted by the European Union will require treatment and marking of all coniferous Non-Manufactured Wood Packing Material (this includes pallets, crates, skids, cases, reels, materials used for blocking and bracing, etc.)

The measures allow treatment of NMWP by:

fumigation, chemical pressure impregnation or heat treatment

All coniferous NMWP must display a mark enabling the identification of the treatment facility and the locationof the facility.  Emergency measures apply to new and used packing materials as mentioned above.

All Shippers must ensure any product arriving in Europe on or after October 1, 2001, to be in compliancewith the emergency measures.

Shipments that do not comply may be refused entry, destroyed or treated.  Shippers will be accountable for any charges incurred due to non-compliance, including the possible return of your product.

2 original and 1 copy ocean B/L and 3 copies commercial* invoice.

*NOTE:

For shipments in which Tupperware Products S.A. (TPSA) is involved, supplier should not send invoices with original documents and TPSA must forward their invoice for clearance.

Original invoices are not required.

DOCUMENT PROCEDURE:

Use shipping address as consignee on ocean B/L and ship to sold to on commercial invoice. Use facility address as sold to on commercial invoice.

Send one set of original documents, via courier, to Mr. Jaehnert at the broker address. Send a duplicate set, via airmail, to either Joerg W. Seyffarth or Heinz Schnellbaecher at the facility address.
